Class Rooms

Each classroom houses a large area and is designed such that every student gets the teacher's maximum individual attention. There are plenty of classrooms for regular teaching alone and a number of other rooms like the Audio-Visual rooms and Resource rooms to facilitate better learning. Well-ventilated with huge windows, they offer the right atmosphere for learning. The white boards and bulletin boards placed at vantage points, make learning easier and interesting. In addition each classroom is provided with stands for flip charts.

Computer Lab

The school has a policy of one computer per child and the school computer lab is adequately equipped for the same. Internet connectivity is provided to the students, teachers and staff in the adjacent Internet lab. Teachers assist children in seeking out information, creating multimedia content, collaborating on project work and presenting the knowledge gathered from multiple sources. Computer Science is an integral part of Mangala Vidya Mandira curriculum. In this age of Computer Technology, an early exposure to the basics of computer, readies the child for the future and also helps the child to overcome any inhibitions they might have towards computer usage.

School Library

The school library is central to learning and plays a key role as a place for encouraging innovation, curiosity, and problem solving. Our library is a catalyst for literacy and reading and for teaching and scaffolding inquiry learning. School library make a difference to students’ understanding and achievement and provide support for teaching and learning throughout the school. The school library is an important part of the school community and reflects and welcomes the community. Our school library plays a key role in the cultural and social life of the school. It can be a central point for engagement with all kinds of reading, cultural activities, access to information, knowledge building, deep thinking and lively discussion.

Science Lab

Science is different from any other subject that a student takes up in school. This discipline unlike other courses affects the lives of each and every person in several ways. From the local weather to the food we eat, and from the simple electronic devices that we use in our day to day lives to the complex machines and systems, science is everywhere. Science involves seeing, handling, understanding and manipulating of real objects and materials.

Teaching science therefore requires a different approach. Schools have to provide opportunities to their students to learn the various methods and processes. It is found that educational institutes that combine classroom or textbook teaching with science laboratory experiments are able to derive the best results for their students. Science lab experiments and science laboratory equipment aid in developing scientific learning amongst students, and in cultivating deeper and profound interest in the field.

Sports Program

At Mangala Vidya Mandira, there are teams for all ages and abilities. The programme caters to highly experienced athletes, as well as to novice players. At all levels, Mangala Vidya Mandira coaches, most of whom are full-time faculty members, are committed to teaching the necessary skills for both improved team and individual performance. Professional sports training is imparted to all students of the school under the guidance of National and International coaches and trainers. Students are encouraged to choose from the following games: Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Tennis, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Cue Sports, Golf, and Squash & Swimming.

Regular interaction is arranged with World-Class achievers so that the students are benefited with the experience and guidance of these sportsmen. Students compete at State / National / International tournaments in various sporting disciplines. Mangala Vidya Mandira is associated with some of the leading sports organisation and apex bodies to strengthen play and perform.

Security 24/7

In order to ensure security coverage in & around our campus, Closed Circuit Cameras have been installed at vantage locations. In addition to this we also have trained security personnel taking care of the security at our campus. Also provide first aid support for kids and teachers when they fall sick and hurt during games and class hours.
